We recognise as a learning provider that there are basically four types of preferred learning personalities.  Most seeking learning and guidance support have in of themselves a blend of learning preferences which will include:

  • Visual learners who prefer visual aids and  seeing things to learn best
  • Audio learners , who prefer to hear what they want to learn
  • Literary learners who learn best by reading and writing
  • Kinaesthetic learners, whose learning is best activated with a hands on approach and involves seeing, learning and doing.


Perhaps you recognise yourself in one or more of the groups listed. Then there are learning styles and needs which include Verbal, Aural, Visual, Logical, Social, Solitary and Physical.  To accommodate personality learning preferences and learning styles and needs what is required is the provision of a blended leaning environment.

A blended learning environment is a construction of guidance, information and support facilities to meet the learning requirements of all learners.  To that end at RivaSure we have created a blended learning and guidance working environment for persons wishing to complete the CIOB professional and Academic MCIOB Routes.

Our services fall into two groups:

  1. Solo or Solitude Learners - Resources for stand alone autonomous INDEPENDENT learners who are confident in their ability to complete their applications who require guidance for the whole application of parts of.
  2. Assisted or Social Learners - Resources for learners who prefer an INTERACTIVE mentoring service to aid their confidence in producing an application at the required standard.

It is often our experience that some candidates commence with Services 1 and following feedback move to Services 2.

Service 1: for Solo / Independent Learners (reports 1.1 - 3.3)

Type A   INDIVIDUAL / Single reports guidance videos, power points and guidance text.

Type B   ALL / 14 reports packaged together guidance videos, power points and guidance texts.


Service 2: for Assisted / Interactive Learners
(reports 1.1 - 3.3)

Type A   INDIVIDUAL / Single reports guidance videos, power points and guidance text WITH RivaSure Interactive WordPad and INTERACTIVEe mentor feedback. 

Type B   ALL / 14 reports packaged together  guidance videos, power points and guidance texts. WITH RivaSure Interactive WordPad and INTERACTIVE mentor feedback. 


Taste and See.

A taste and see strategy is often utilised by our candidates.  Candidates often choose Service options 1a or 2a and then upgrade to 1b and 2b.
